A new option for those struggling with job hunting-YMG.
You’ve started job hunting, but are you unsure which company is the right fit for you?
“I know what I want to do, but maybe I can only succeed at a big company…”
“For now, I’ll just go with a company whose name I know.”
Many people share these same thoughts.
However, it’s precisely because we are a small to medium-sized company that you have the opportunity to discover what you truly want to do and what you really want to challenge yourself with.
In this article, we would like to introduce YMG as a new option for those struggling with job hunting.
We hope you can feel the joy of creating equipment, the challenging environment, and the sense of fulfillment through the voices of our senior employees.
#1 【Getting to know YMG】
Our company designs, manufactures, and sells “robots that pick up and transport objects in place of humans” (guided transfer equipment). We mainly deliver these to major automobile manufacturers.
In fact, YMG was established in 1977, and just two years later, we launched the automation equipment division, which forms the foundation of our company today. Over our long history, we have built trust and expertise.
While maintaining our traditions, we also take on various product development challenges to provide robot systems that match the needs of the future. Participation in new projects is open to volunteers, offering many opportunities for significant growth for those who are motivated.

#2 【Voices from Senior Employees Working on Site】
Here, we introduce the voices of senior employees from each department who work on site every day.

<Voice from the Field>
“I feel a sense of fulfillment when the equipment I proposed is actually used by customers, or when my suggestions are accepted. At this company, I also developed the ability to think for myself and put those ideas into action. I learned that if you make an effort every day, you can handle anything on your own, take on assigned roles, and see them through to completion.”

<Mechanical Design>
Job Description: Conceptual layout design specialized for production line transfer equipment / Drawing overall production line diagrams and creating parts draeings and parts lists / Providing mechanical technical support and explaining structures to customers
<Voice from the Field>

I feel a sense of accomplishment when I design efficiently at low cost and the completed equipment works perfectly. Each task takes time because every project is different, but there is joy in creating something new.”

<Control Design>
Job Description: Designing software hardware for automation equipment, performing test runs and debugging / Providing control-related technical support to customers and after-sales-follow-up for delivered equipment
<Voice from the Field>

I feel a sense of fulfillment when the programs I write operate as expected or when I handle equipment I’ve never worked with before. I gain a wide range of experience-from design to operation checks and on-site coordination-and also develop the ability to collaborate effectively with others.”

<Manufacturing>
Job Description: Assembling machines / Piping air grease for equipent / Adjusting machines and performing test runs / Installation, adjustment, and final operation checks at customer factories
<Voice from the Field>
“The process of completing the equiment itself is enjoyable. Seeing the finished equipment in action at the customer’s factory makes me feel a sense of attachment, almost like it’s my own child, and the more challenging the equipment, the stronger my emotional investment. Patience and initiative naturally develop as well. This company is suitable for those who love manufacturing and have a spirit of challenge. I hope others can experience the excitement and sense of accomplishment of creating equipment together with their colleagues.”
