At the “NHK Student Robocon 2025” held on Sunday, June 8 at the Ota City General Gymnasium in Tokyo, the Toyohashi University of Technology Robocon Club “Toyohashi☆Robocons” won the runner-up prize!

In the preliminary tournament, Toyohashi was placed in Group D.
They advanced smoothly through the group stage and secured a spot in the final tournament by finishing third overall.
In the finals, they defeated Waseda University and Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology to make it to the championship match.
Their opponent in the final was the University of Tokyo.
Toyohashi took an early lead, scoring 3 points. However, their robot made contact with University of Tokyo’s robot, resulting in a foul. This gave 7 points to the opponent.
Despite their efforts to make a comeback, they were unable to sccore again, and the match ended.
It was a close game, and they finished as runners-up.

Still, Toyohashi☆Robocons once again showed their strength by advancing to the final tournament this year.
Amid high expectations and pressure from those around them – including hopes of achieving a fourth consecutive national championship – they managed to secure the runner-up position.
We truly believe this result was made possible by the incredible daily efforts of every team member.
