We are pleased to announce that we have been featured in “Oshigoto Note.”
Our company has been featured in “Oshigoto Note(Mikawa Edition),” a career education resource for elementary school students in the Toyohashi area.
“Oshigoto Note” is a supplementary educational resource distributed to 3rd and 4th-grade elementary school students at their schools. This booklet introduces various local businesses and professions, serving as an opportunity for children to start thinking about their future careers.
To share the appeal of manufacturing with local children
In this feature, our work with “industrial robots and automation equipment” is highlighted. Although these worksites are rarely seen in daily life, they play a crucial role in supporting our everyday lives.
The feature also introduces “Robo Dane Futagawa Toyohasi Campus,” our robot programming school for elementary and junior high school students, which is operated alongside our company.
Guided by our vision of “Making everyone smile through robotics,” we provide automation technologies that solve social issues such as labor shortages and production efficiency. At the same time, we are committed to nurturing the next generation of programmers.
Voices from our employees are also featured
The feature also includes voices from our team on the front lines. This edition focuses on the Control Design Department and the Manufacturing Department, providing insights into their actual work and the rewarding aspects of their careers.
This was a wonderful opportunity to convey the “passion” and “sense of fulfillment” found in our work-aspects that are often invisible during daily operations-in a way that is easy for children to understand.
Valuing our connection with the local community
We have been actively engaging in initiatives for children-the future leaders of our community-including:
・Operation robot programming classes for elementary school students.
・Hosting factory tours and site visits.
・Collaborating with educational institutions.
While the manufacturing industry still faces challenges in terms of public awareness, we believe that increasing “opportunities to learn” will serve as a spark for people to become interested in this field.
Through this feature, we would be delighted if even a few more children think, “Manufacturing looks so cool! or “I want to do a job like this someday!”
As a company deeply rooted in the community, we will continue commit ourselves to nurturing the next generation and sharing the passion for manufacturing.
