The Toyohashi University of Technology Robocon Club, “Toyohashi☆Robocons,” has qualified to participate in the “NHK Studenrt Robocon 2025” (national competition) to be held in June!🤖

■How to qualify for the competition?

Not all teams that enter the NHK Student Robocon are able to participate in the final competition.
Teams must pass two stages of video screening – the first and second rounds – to earn a spot in the tournament.
During the screening process, the primary focus is on evaluating whether the robot is capable of performing well at the “ABU Robocon” (the international competition ) as a representative of Japan.
In the first round, approximately 40 teams are selected from around 50 to 80 applicants.
In the second round, this number is further narrowed down to about 16 to 20 teams.
Thus, the pass rate for the screening process is roughly between 25% and just under 40%. (Based on our research)

\ The charm of Robocon is now being broadcast on the radio! /
As part of our efforts to spread the appeal of Roboon, the radio program “On the Road! Toyohashi☆Robocons” has started.
Since its launch in 2023, there have been 29 episodes broadcast so far.
The 30th episode will air on Monday, May 26, right before the competition!
We’re excited to hear what they will share about their feelings leading up to the competition and even more about the charm of Robocon.✨
